# Convicta

> Convicta is a news-to-action ecosystem for people who follow world events and prediction
> markets (open community testing / beta). It ingests news from 1,600+ sources in 20 languages,
> works out what each story actually means, and — when the story moves a market — connects it to
> the exact Polymarket prediction market it affects. At its core is a rule-based matching engine
> that reduces both a news event and a market to explicit relationships — who did what to whom —
> and links them only when those relationships line up. Every match is traceable to the exact

- One engine, four surfaces:
  - Convicta News (@Convicta_news_bot) — a Telegram Mini App that turns 1,600+ news sources in
    20 languages into one personal feed: filtered, de-duplicated, tagged, with AI summaries and
    an optional daily digest. Open to everyone (open beta).
  - Polymarket Pulse (@Convicta_pulse_bot) — a Telegram Mini App for people who follow or trade
    Polymarket: alerts on trades, whale activity, price moves and market resolutions; portfolio
    and trader tracking; news connected to the specific markets it moves; and "Edge" — an
    experimental AI fair-value estimate. Public alpha.
  - Web app — both products in a regular browser; sign in with Google, email, or Telegram; plan
    and settings carry over between Telegram and the web.
  - Chrome extension — a Convicta layer on top of polymarket.com: real-time alert sidebar, news
    and the Edge estimate on market pages, a "Notify me" price-move button, upgraded trader
    pages, a newspaper view for your markets, and coverage dots on market lists. Live on the
    Chrome Web Store — one-click install with automatic updates; early alpha build.
- Why it matters: auditability (every match is explainable), no invented connections (rules
  decide the live match, not a language model at runtime), and consistency (same input, same
  output).
- Beta honesty: AI-assisted surfaces — summaries, translations, and the Edge estimate — are
  metered and may be limited during testing; the rule-based features run normally.
  News-to-market matching runs on a regular batch cadence: treat the feed as timely, not
  millisecond real-time. Matching can be inaccurate, especially on breaking news; we do not
  publish an accuracy figure until it has been measured on a labeled benchmark. Trading
  decisions are the user's own. No profit guarantees.
- Pricing: four plans — Free ($0), News+ ($6/mo · $60/yr), Pulse Pro ($12/mo · $120/yr),
  Pulse Edge ($20/mo · $200/yr, includes News+). Annual billing gives two months free. Right now
  Convicta is in open community testing and everything is free: every new user gets a two-month
  grant on the full-featured tier; nothing charges automatically. Payment via CryptoPay
  (@CryptoBot), USD-equivalent in crypto.
